PC4A Previous Activities

Students participating in a summer YMCA kid camp took a field trip to Penn Highlands and were given a tour and an opportunity to participate in STEM-based hands-on activities.

Faculty attended the 2024 Cybersecurity Across Disciplines (CyAD) Conference in Palos Hills, IL. Attendees received a basic introduction to cybersecurity and had opportunities to participate in workshops focused on a wide variety of industries.

Faculty attended the NICE Conference in Dallas, TX. The theme of the event was "Strengthening Ecosystems: Aligning Stakeolders to Bridge the Cybersecurity Workforce Gap."

A Cisco CCNA cert-prep workshop was offered to students to help prepare them for the certification exam. Seven students participated in the workshop, and six were awarded an exam voucher. Six students attempted the exam, and one earned their certification.

Co-PIs attended the 33rd Annual Showcase for Commerce to inform local businesses about PC4A and connect with representatives from DoD/DIB agencies.
