2025 BotsIQ Combat Robotics - Semifinals

Co-PIs volunteered at BotsIQ semi-final combat robotics competition held at PennWest California. A booth was set up to share information on Computer Science programs and student benefits available through PC4A.

CompTIA Network+ Workshop
Participating Partner:
Penn Highlands Community College
A CompTIA Network+ cert-prep workshop was offered to students to help prepare them for the certification exam. Five students participated in the workshop and all will be provided an exam voucher once workshop requirements are met.

Montco Chief Science Officers Lab Demonstrations

Hands-on lab demonstrations were provided to students through Montgomery County Chief Science Officers.

Middle School Coding Camp
Participating Partner:
Westmoreland County Community College
WCCC offered a creative coding camp for students in grades 6-9, with scholarships provided by PC4A. Students explored coding through hands-on labs utilizing the Arduino circuit board.

Retired Police Chief Classroom Presentation

Retired Police Chief John Hartman gave a presentation to computer science students titled “Digital Evidence and the Chain of Custody.”
